Our Team

Haus of Fog’s content is provided by artists of various backgrounds/expertise/moods/opinions/varying levels of caffination. While Haus of Fog is a collaborative effort, the opinions shared by each contributor is their own and is not necessarily reflective of any other contributor’s opinions.

  • Ashley Good

Ashley Good is the brains behind Haus of Fog. After directing the Foggy Isle Film Festival, which shone a spotlight on dark/horror indie shorts for the past five years, she decided to launch Haus of Fog to better reach her niche of fellow film weirdos. You can learn more about her work at ashleygood.ca.

  • Devon & Drew

The bio that they submitted simply said, "Drew and Devon: Hosts of Beardy and the Beast, Assholes." Because that is only partially relevant to Haus of Fog though, it should be noted that they are also into music (creating and listening to), gaming, and could be described as nerds in the 2000s-sense, and not the weird, modern, obsessed with Disney-kind of nerdery.

  • Matthew J. Kaplan

Matthew J. Kaplan is a playwright, filmmaker, musician, and now, due to a clerical error, a contributor to Haus of Fog. There are a lot of NYC stories, but Matt likes to tell the ones that are a bit off the beaten pavement. You'll see some of those stories here, and the rest can be found at matthewjkaplan.com.

He enjoys reading, skateboarding, and secretly ranting about the subtle absurdities in his mundane life as a first-generation immigrant in Canada. He doesn't understand the concept of BIPOC and refuses to be labelled/treated as such. His pronouns are 他/它/祂.
